A lot has been written about the connection between climate change and maple syrup making recently. Sap season is indeed earlier and less predictable as the climate warms and weather patterns become less predictable. But forests are resilient, and we can each do our part to ensure that the art of sugar making carries on come what may. In this presentation, we'll discuss how climate change has changed sugaring, and concrete steps to take to care for our own sugar woods in this changing climate.
